 Conference “Challenges in the inland water remote sensing - future sensors, improved processing methods”

Two FP7 projects WaterS and GLaSS join their expertise and competences during the conference "Challenges in the inland water remote sensing - future sensors, improved processing methods” that is held from April 1- 6, 2014  in Tartu Observatory, Tõravere, Estonia.


  •  Tuesday, April 1

Arrival: to Tartu by from Helsinki plane or from Tallinn by bus (2.5 hours, direct from airport and comfortable)

Accommodation: in Tartu hotel London - in the center of town, walking distance from bus station.
Limited number of beds are also available in Tartu Observatory guest apartment in Tõravere.

Scientific meeting dedicated for the further inland water remote sensing challenges

Full day in Tõravere from 09.00 to 20.30, lunch at 12.30-14.00. The bus for participants from Tartu to Tõravere will leave at 8.15 from hotel London and bring people back to Tartu after the end of the day about 20.30. The bus trip lasts 30 min.

GLaSS meeting in Tartu hotel London small meeting room from 09.00 to 14.00, lunch at 13.00.

GLaSS management and WP achievements were presented during the review meeting on March 17, 2014, so the people who were not present can find most doscuments via Dropbox. Therefore in Tartu we can focus on plans and planning. We can start 8.30, that will be decided currently.
